Take up the challenge and write to our members which include students in the first two years of their study. Accent is sent by mail to all members of E.F.M. Academy, which includes almost 100% of all first- and second year students. The magazine covers different kind of topics of serious as well as fun nature, study related articles and articles about events in the world you live in. Accent's goal is to find the balance of being a general interest publication and a member's magazine at the same time.

We try to facilitate the university courses for our peers through offering Extra Tutorials, Exam Trainings, Extensive Exam Trainings as well as Skills Trainings. Offering extra workshops where students can acquire skills which might not be taught in university but could be extremely helpful in the academic environment is also part of our portfolio. Next to academic skills we also try to boost the skills of fellow students by offering workshops that teach skills that might come in handy in your future career. Summaries of the mandatory literature and old Exams that allow students to practice for the upcoming exams complete our offers.

Do you love to organize and are you up for a challenge? Working in the Study Trip Committee involves getting in contact with companies and speaking to your possible future employers. Every block we offer company visits to some 20 to 25 interested students who get to know the ‘real life’ for a day.
Each semester we will organize a subsidized weekend long study trip to a European city, where we can visit one or more companies, see the city and last but definitely not least experience its nightlife.

Do you love to travel and are looking for a challenge? The Foreign Trip Committee organizes a big 5-day trip to a European destination once a year. The trip is far more extensive than the study trips organized by the Study Trip Committee although it involves similar elements: the fun of traveling combined with the possibility to gain insights into companies. We offer 30-40 students the chance to see and discover a great city while also visiting foreign companies and thus gaining valuable insights. Being part of the Committee involves planning the entire travel and making the Foreign Trip a memorable event far beyond an average sightseeing visit.

Do you enjoy student nightlife and like organizing leisure activities? Then you should definitely consider joining our Social Committee and help us arrange the greatest parties and activities.
The Social Activities Committee is responsible for the ‘Craze’, the biggest party in Maastricht each block as well as smaller block parties. By organizing parties we want to fulfill an important aspect of student life namely the fun part. Furthermore, we want to strengthen the relationship to our active as well as general members through these events. The Social Committee also organizes one social activity per block for all Active Members of EFM Academy. These activities comprise of events such as laser gaming, a walking dinner, bowling etc. The main goals are to have fun together and to maintain our team spirit.
